My name is Octaphard Jupiter, work as professional defensive driving trainer since 2007. In 2010 i’m taking international certification from TÜV (Technischer Überwachungsverein/ Technical Inspection Association) and also from PRODRIVE TRAINING Netherland. After taking the course, somehow i felt that traffic in Indonesia can be improved and also the death toll from the related vehicle crash or collision can be reduced. Nowadays because of the GDP increasement, most Indonesian people is afford to buy motor vehicle either motorcycle or even people upgrade their motorcycle to a car, but unfortunately people in Indonesia has lack of knowledge about road safety. Yes they know how to operate a vehicle because this is the only thing that a driver instructors gave to a newly driver but not about the hazard identification and risk analysis.
That’s why i create this website, to share the knowledge that i have and also trying to build a community that aware about road safety. Also hoping that Indonesian Government and Indonesian Police Department will review their regulation about traffic, giving road safety awareness at school for 11 grade students, also improving public transportation.
